Putting the Community Back in Commuting
As we head into the holiday season, it’s a great time to think about what we are most thankful for and count our many blessings. At Boxcar, we’re grateful not only for our customers, but for the great towns around the country that we partner with. From our home base in Chatham, NJ, to New Cannan, Ct, and Orinda, Ca, to Wellesley, Ma, our expansion has been driven by our desire to help ease the burden on suburban commuters. By doing the legwork with elected officials and property owners before we launch in a town and collecting feedback afterward, we can ensure that we provide the best fit of services for each area.
From reserved parking near suburban train stations in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and California, to luxury bus service from select NJ towns to Midtown Manhattan, we do our best to make this a more enjoyable, less stressful part of the day for our customers.
And, while commuting is a part of life, we realize it shouldn’t be the biggest part. Each of the towns we partner with is a vibrant community full of great opportunities, and those communities are what it’s all about. I love getting to know our customers, whether it’s in person or via email. And when customers refer friends to Boxcar, I know we’re doing something right. More than just providing a service, each Boxcar team member works hard to become a part of the towns we serve. As a New Jersey-based company with strong Jersey roots, we are all happy to be able to give a little bit back to not only our own hometowns, but the many communities we partner with. Whether it’s sponsoring local youth sports teams like the Madison Little League, or fundraising runs like the Sunshine Striders Fun Run for rare cancer research in Chatham and the Firecracker 4 Miler in Cranford, we want to show our support for the great communities we work in.
Beyond sponsorships, we love to show up to cheer on our teams and encourage the runners. In the end, we’re all in this together. So next time you’re at one of these events, keep an eye out – you’ll probably see one of us in the crowd!
