Introducing Boxcar's New Lower Midtown Route!
Exciting news! Boxcar is thrilled to announce our new Lower Midtown Route, set to for a full test run on this Thursday, January 23rd, with the legendary Jimmy at the helm. To celebrate and test this route with a full 56-passenger bus, we’re offering $1 tickets for this special launch day. Here’s everything you need to know about the schedule and stops to plan your commute seamlessly:
Morning Routes:
AM Loop 1
Start your day with our convenient early pickups:
- Convent Station: 5:40 AM
- Madison: 5:50 AM
- Chatham: 5:56 AM
AM Loop 2
This loop is designed for those heading straight from Madison and Chatham (please note: this bus does not pick up at Convent Station):
- Madison: 8:10 AM
- Chatham: 8:16 AM
Hudson Yards Morning Drop-Offs:
We’ve carefully selected drop-off points to ensure smooth access to key destinations in Lower Midtown:
- 10th and 34th (Pfizer building)
- 11th and 30th
- 11th and 25th
- 14th and 10th
- 14th and 8th
- 14th and 6th
- Union Square
- Union Square North
- Park and 23rd
- Madison Square
Evening Pickup Route
End your day with comfort and efficiency. Our first evening pickup starts at 5 PM, and we’ll benchmark exact times during the initial run to fine-tune your experience. Pick up times will be listed in the app, where we also encourage riders to use the bus tracking feature.
Hudson Yards PM Pickups:
- NY Life Insurance Building
- One Madison Ave
- Union Square North (Park and 18th)
- 14th and 5th
- 14th and 8th
- 10th and 17th
- 10th and 25th
- 10th and 30th
- 10th and 34th
From there, the route continues up 10th Ave and directly into the Lincoln Tunnel for a smooth ride home.
