Boxcar: Off to the Races!
For the first time ever, Boxcar is running MULTIPLE BUSES, to and from The Far Hills Race Meeting (aka The Hunt) on October 19th.
For over 100 years, the race at Far Hills has been synonymous with tradition and class, but traveling to the event is notoriously chaotic. What better way to start your race day than an effortless, luxurious ride with Boxcar?
Booking is now available for all riders to reserve shuttle service to/from the Far Hills Race Meeting. Reserve seamless drop off and pickup directly at the Moorland Farm race grounds, with Boxcar.
Shuttles to The Hunt depart from:
- Summit
- New Providence
- Berkeley Heights
- Chatham
- Madison
- Convent Station
- Cranford
- Westfield
- Fanwood
Shuttles to the race will be departing their first pickup locations at 9am and 11am. Please be sure to check your AM pickup times for each location within each listing. Return service shuttles will leave The Hunt promptly at 3pm and 5pm.
To reserve a shuttle for October 19th, follow these steps:
- Open the shuttle listing you’d like to book.
- In the booking calendar, select October 19th as your desired date.
- Click the "Reserve Now" button at the bottom of the screen.
- To add an admission ticket to your purchase: once on the reservation page, click the blue "Option" button and choose "Far Hills Race Ticket" from the dropdown menu. Click here to see a screenshot with instructions.
- After confirming the ticket selection, you’re all set!
Listings in the app are for one-way reservations, so you will need to book your arrival and departure tickets separately. A ticket to The Hunt is not included with your bus ticket.
